Solution
Since we had a budget constraint, we decided to opt for cheaper options of wallpaper, and curated custom wall art ourselves and frame it.
We opted for a boho- look for the interiors and wanted to add a bit of texture since the color scheme had two primary colors to work with, we decided to go for japandi style pendant lighting.
My friend and I worked on the functionality of the space with the existing furniture and modified a section of the chairs and reception area by spray painting or wrapping to match it with the rest of the aesthetics of the space.
A Marathi family-owned Indian restaurant redesigned into a warm, nostalgic space inspired by traditional hospitality, comforting home-cooked meals, earthy textures, and intimate interiors that create a welcoming “home away from home” experience.
